Bread days in Pan-pek

Be a part of Pan-pek  activities for World Bread Day campaign and enter a chance to win a unique prize – one month of free bread!

Bread days are celebrated every year in October to properly show gratitude for the food we have in front of us and highlight the importance of preserving resources as well as celebrate bread as one of the key products for mankind.

Bread days are most often celebrated in schools, kindergartens and other educational institutions through appropriate activities for the youngest. In this way, they learn from a small age about the making of bread and its importance in nutrition, about traditions and customs, and children's participation in bread-making is encouraged, in schools and families.

For us at Pan-pek, bread day is every day, and through our business we strive to provide our customers with high quality, daily freshly baked bread and pastries, but in October we place a special emphasis on these products.

This year, we are celebrating Bread Days through activities that will include our community, educate, have fun, encourage creativity and remind us of the importance of bread in everyday life. Continue reading and find out what awaits you in the days ahead!

Facebook creative contest – from November 12th till November 17th, we want you and all your family members to share with us drawings on the topic of how you imagine Pan-pek. Educational workshop for the youngest and a visit to Pan-pek – we have invited the children from kindergarden Vrbovec, from Vrbovec, to visit us at Pan-pek.  We will have an educational and creative bread-making workshop with the young participants and they will have the opportunity to find out how bread is made at Pan-pek. We will, of course, sweeten this visit with our famous doughnuts, and our little participants will take their first loaves od bread home to their families, after the workshop.

At the very end, let us remind you that you can buy daily freshly baked, crispy on the outside, fine on the inside, bread and pastries every day at your nearest Pan-pek bakery. Some of our favorites are Slavonian bread, homemade white and unleavened bread, pumpkin seed bread, corn mixed oil bread and crispy golden bread. Which one is yours?
